The Poovanese will love to play with your house full of children. The Poovanese is known to warm up quickly to strangers, however, this makes them less than ideal watchdogs. The Poovanese is also an excellent choice for homes with other dogs or small animals, as they are happy to enjoy the company of any animal. However, as with any breed, introduction of your Poovanese to another animal will always be more successful when socialization begins at a young age.
